Today, I’m going to introduce ‘Gangnam things to do’.

Seoul is called the Han River in half, and the upper part is Gangbuk and the lower part is Gangnam.

Gangnam, which we commonly know, is near Gangnam Station, Samseong Station, Apgujeong, and Garosu-gil.

So I’d like to introduce you around here.

The places I want to introduce are selected as places close to where you can go sightseeing.

 

 

1. Coex

COEX is the biggest shopping mall in Gangnam, Seoul. It starts from Samseong Station on Subway Line 2 and it’s a huge scale.

There are so many things to enjoy because there is a Byeolmadang library in COEX and there is an aquarium that I saw while searching for a trip to Korea.

And there are so many brand stores that it’s perfect for shopping.

If you go to COEX, it’s so big that you have to spend half of your day at COEX, so please refer to it when you plan!

And there is also Hyundai Department Store next to COEX, and it would be better to look around together when there are various stores.

 

2. ILSANG-B-ILSANG

  • 426, Gangnam-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea

  • 11:00 to 21:00 every day (closed on Mondays)

This is a complex cultural space operated by LGU+, one of Korea’s leading telecommunication companies.

Since the location is located on Gangnam Station shopping street, I think it is a good place to visit if you are thinking about ‘Gangnaming to do’.

There are various events and exhibitions every time, and admission is free, so anyone can visit. In the case of exhibitions, some of them are operated for a fee, but this is optional, so I recommend you to take a look at the exhibition if you are curious!

When I visited in the past, I could drink coffee made by robots on the top floor, but I’m not sure how it is now.

We can play various games, and it took about an hour to an hour and a half.

It doesn’t take long, so if you want to take a break from shopping, visit!

 

 

3. Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong

This place is visited by many people looking for work in Gangnam!

Garosu-gil in Sinsa-dong is one of the shopping streets visited by many foreigners. However, it is a place where many Korean locals visit and delicious restaurants are gathered.

There are various brand stores, so it’s great for shopping, and it’s fun to find new shopping spots while walking around the alley.

Above all, there are a lot of editing shops here, so there may be limited edition products or products that you couldn’t get in your country.

And it is a great place to enjoy the night in Gangnam because many young Koreans visit in the evening.

The location is Exit 8 of Sinsa Station on Subway Line 3, and if you walk about 500m ahead, there is an entrance! If you’re not sure, you can put the address I left on Google Maps and move it!

 

4. HAUS DOSAN

  • 50, Apgujeong-ro 46-gil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea

  • 11:00 to 21:00 daily

This is a store run by a glasses brand called Gentle Monster. There is a unique cafe called Nudake underground, and there is a perfume brand called Temburins on the top floor.

And all the middle floors are shops that sell Gentle Monster glasses, and I recommend this place because the special designs pursued by the Gentle Monster brand are expressed in the interior, so it’s very good to see!

And since Apgujeong Rodeo Street is located, it’s great to look around Rodeo Street.

I recommend you to look around from the first floor to the upper floor and spend some time drinking coffee at the Nudake Cafe in the basement!

And it’s great to take a walk because Dosan Park is right next to it!

 

5. FAMILLE STATION

One of the things to do in Gangnam is to visit FAMILLE STATION located in Gangnam Express Terminal Station.

There are so many brand stores and so many delicious restaurants here that it’s a perfect place to shop and enjoy.

In particular, there are so many things to see and enjoy because it is a place where Korean trendy brands are rushing to launch!

Above all, the express terminal station on Subway Line 3 is connected to the basement, so it’s very convenient to move around!

And in the case of the Starbucks Central City branch located here, many people visit because of the ceiling picture.
